Sheila has nine children and twenty-two grandchildren. Her family has certainly been her inspiration and she has been published most of her adult life. She now lives in Suffolk with her husband. Sheila has written many novels for Robert Hale including The Watercress Girls and The Poplar Penny Whistlers.
